Singer-songwriter Shin Seung-hoon raised anticipation for his 12th studio album by unveiling lyric posters for the double title tracks.
Recently, Shin Seung-hoon posted lyric posters for the double title tracks "너라는 중력" and "TRULY" from his 12th studio album SINCERELY MELODIES on his official social media channels.
In the released poster, Shin Seung-hoon draws attention by posing with a guitar, an object that condenses his identity as a singer-songwriter. Dressed in a neat black suit, Shin Seung-hoon's appearance fully reflects the straight path of his musical career.
Some of the lyrics that let listeners fully feel Shin Seung-hoon's sensibility have also been revealed. Lines such as "Words soaked in sorrow, words that keep stinging / Goodbye, words that still realize love," and "I guess there are things you only know after it passes / I finally hold you warmly from that day" suggest a well-made album through lyrical musical language that invites reflection on meaning.
In particular, Shin Seung-hoon drew strong response from fans by packing deep reflections on life into short lyrics. Rather than simply telling a story of love and parting for one person, he sketches his own definition of love and parting itself, revealing a deeper outlook on life.
SINCERELY MELODIES is Shin Seung-hoon's full-length album released to mark his 35th anniversary since debut, and the title means "a melody completed from the heart." Shin Seung-hoon participated in producing and composing all tracks, infusing the essence of "Shin Seung-hoon music" throughout the album. Across 11 tracks, he deploys his full capabilities as a singer-songwriter, promising the emotional impact of watching a well-made film.
Ahead of the official album release, Shin Seung-hoon pre-released the track "She Was" on the 10th. "She Was" is a traditional ballad in Shin Seung-hoon's style, both plaintive and tender, dedicated to fans. It offers a gentle consolation to those who have sacrificed themselves under the name of love, from girl to woman, and woman to mother. Fans who heard it have visited Shin Seung-hoon's social media account to share their experiences and express gratitude, further heightening expectations for the 12th studio album SINCERELY MELODIES.
Shin Seung-hoon's 12th studio album SINCERELY MELODIES will be released through various music platforms at 6 p.m. on the 23rd. Shin Seung-hoon will then hold solo concerts titled 2025 THE Shin Seung-hoon SHOW "SINCERELY 35" at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul, on Nov. 1 and 2, where he will meet fans.
