"Would You Merry Me" wedding pictorials of Choi Woo-shik and Jung So-min have been released.
The new SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Would You Merry Me" (directed by Song Hyun-wook, Hwang In-hyuk / written by Lee Ha-na / produced by Samhwa Networks, Studio S), which premieres on Oct. 10 (Fri), is a sweet-and-deadly 90-day fake newlywed period in which two men and women fight to win a luxury newlywed home prize, and it raises expectations as a work that will showcase solid acting synergy when reliable actor Choi Woo-shik (as Kim Woo-ju) meets rom-com queen Jung So-min (as Yu Meri).
In particular, attention is focused on the sweet-and-deadly romance that arises when Choi Woo-shik, who plays flawless bread heir Kim Woo-ju, the fourth-generation successor of Korea's first bakery, and Jung So-min, who plays small business owner and livelihood-focused designer Yu Meri, are entwined as a fake married couple like a twist of fate.
Meanwhile, "Would You Merry Me" released three main poster wedding pictorials of the fake newlywed couple on the 17th. The ultra-close visuals of Choi Woo-shik (as Kim Woo-ju) in a tuxedo and Jung So-min (as Yu Meri) in a wedding dress grab attention.
Jung So-min placing her hand on the back of Choi Woo-shik's neck and Choi Woo-shik slightly wrapping his arm around her waist in a romantic pose, and the two appearing as if about to kiss on the forehead amplify the excitement and peak their visual chemistry. The veil that lavishly surrounds them foreshadows the precarious mood of the two as a fake married couple.
Another released poster features the fake married couple Choi Woo-shik and Jung So-min armed with lovely chemistry. Wearing coordinated black-and-white casual wedding looks and sporting playful expressions, they show off lovely charm. The sight of the two demonstrating perfect harmony also raises expectations for their acting chemistry in "Would You Merry Me."
Moreover, as the copy reads "a romance of a fake married couple that's more real than real," fate-like circumstances bring Woo-ju and Meri together as a fake newlywed couple, and while they constantly act affectionate over the 90 days to avoid revealing the ruse, viewers are expected to be made to swoon repeatedly.
Expectations for "Would You Merry Me," which will contain a romance of Choi Woo-shik and Jung So-min that looks more real than real after showing ultimate chemistry in the posters, are soaring.
The new SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Would You Merry Me" will premiere on Oct. 10 (Fri) at 9:50 p.m.
