'Radio Star' actor Jeong Bo-seok reported on the status of the bakery that became a huge hit.
On the 17th episode of MBC variety show 'Radio Star', Jeong Bo-seok, Lee Seok-hoon, Ong Seong-woo and Woozi appeared for the "guilty people compilation.ZIP" special.
That day Jeong Bo-seok said he came to repay the favor to 'Radio Star', saying "When we opened the bakery it was a huge hit thanks to 'Radio Star'. People lined up in front of the house and there was nowhere to park. We felt sorry for the neighborhood so we closed that place and officially opened elsewhere," and expressed his gratitude.
When asked about the location, Jeong Bo-seok said, "The original location was the house where I used to live. Because parking was insufficient, we moved to Magok-dong."
At a location with heavy foot traffic, Kim Gu-ra remarked, "There's also the big company L there, business will do well," and Kim Guk-jin asked, "So you opened because of the bakery?" which prompted laughter. Jeong Bo-seok replied, "No, it's doing well so I'm thankful."
Jeong Bo-seok also said he was recently promoted from unpaid to paid staff. He explained, "Actually our bakery isn't run by me, my son runs it. Because he used our house, we couldn't collect rent. Going back and forth, he would also greet customers, clean the restroom and tidy the tables."
He continued, "It really was unpaid. After sending him out, he asked to be modeled officially. He began to be paid. He receives 5% of sales as a running guarantee," and said they even drew up a contract.
