"Questions from Sohn Seok-hee" Lee Young-ae confessed she even filmed a pesticide commercial.
On the 17th broadcast of MBC "Questions from Sohn Seok-hee," actress Lee Young-ae appeared.
That day, marking her 35th anniversary since debut, Lee Young-ae said she debuted with a chocolate commercial shot with Hong Kong actor Andy Lau. She said, "It was when I was a sophomore in college," and recalled how it began, "When I was a freshman I was doing part-time work and then worked as an advertising model."
In particular she confessed, "Before I became famous I did a pesticide commercial. I don't remember where it was shown. It was somewhere in the provinces. I remember going out to the fields in my freshman year without caring and filming," which drew attention.
She continued, "After doing various commercials there is an electronic ad by the late Choi Jin-sil called 'It depends on being a woman.' They said they were looking for a follow-up model so I went and waited. Someone told me to come. When I followed them they sat me in the restroom of a large confectionery and filmed me with a camera. They watched the monitor. They said it's fine and took me away. That was filmed in Daehangno," she recalled.
