Group MAMAMOO member Solar claims the late-summer "horror queen" title.
Solar makes her screen debut in the horror film "Gwishi," which opens in theaters nationwide today (17th). "Gwishi" is set against the backdrop of the ghost transaction market "Gwishi," which unfolds when the fox window opens, and tells a chilling story about people who try to obtain what they do not have.
In "Gwishi," Solar plays Miyeon, who comes to a rural village to realize her dream of becoming a famous writer. Miyeon becomes entangled with an old tree that is like the village's guardian and is drawn into strange incidents.
In particular, "Gwishi" is receiving intense interest from fans because it is Solar's screen debut. Solar has been recognized for her outstanding singing and acting in major musicals such as "Mata Hari" and "Notre-Dame de Paris," so expectations are high for what she will show on screen.
In this regard, Solar said through her agency, "I am truly honored to make my first screen debut with 'Gwishi.' Thanks to the wonderful director and warm staff, I was able to film comfortably and enjoyably throughout.
