A comedian on The Return of Superman, Lee Sang-hae, exhausted his energy trying his best to make his granddaughter laugh.
On the episode of KBS2TV variety show The Return of Superman (hereafter "Superman") that aired on the 17th, Kim Yoon-ji left her child with her in-laws to attend a schedule, and the couple Lee Sang-hae and Kim Young-im appeared, lovingly taking care of Kim Yoon-ji's daughter, Ella.
Lee Sang-hae felt a little hurt that his granddaughter clung to her grandmother, but he tried physical comedy to attract attention and make her laugh, wearing a magic hat or a beanie and dancing hip-hop. As a legendary slapstick comedian, his movements turned the studio upside down, but granddaughter Ella's interest was hard to tell. Then, when Lee Sang-hae brought out a yogurt play activity, Ella danced as if excited and soon became quiet.
Lee Sang-hae said, "Isn't this a bit too much?" and, while flustered, said, "Grandfather will take responsibility, do it," then wondered, "Why is the child like this?" When Kim Yoon-ji returned after finishing her schedule she cheerfully asked, "You worked hard, right? Father, are you okay?" but Lee Sang-hae, exhausted from childcare, collapsed on the sofa and brought laughter by saying, "What do you mean 'are you okay'?"
