Actor Park Hyung-sik denied reports that he was paid 400 million won per episode for "Twelve."
On the 17th, Park Hyung-sik's agency, Rave Entertainment, issued an official statement and spoke about recent reports on Park Hyung-sik's drama appearance fees.
On that day the agency said, "We are delivering the official position regarding actor Park Hyung-sik's per-episode appearance fee," adding, "From the initially reported 'Doctor Slump' to the current 'Twelve,' reports of Park Hyung-sik's appearance fees exposed through the media are not true."
Park Hyung-sik's side explained the reason for issuing an official statement about the appearance fee, saying, "Because it is being treated as an established fact despite being different from the reality, we are conveying an official position."
The agency added, "Actor Park Hyung-sik approaches every project he accepts with sincerity. We would appreciate it if you could continue to watch his future activities with warm eyes."
Earlier, a media outlet reported that Park Hyung-sik received 400 million won per episode for the drama "Twelve," which was released through KBS and Disney+, and Park Hyung-sik's side issued a direct statement to refute this.
