"My Troublesome Star" Um Jung-hwa, Song Seung-heon's rosy comeback show faced a crisis.
The 10th episode of the Genie TV original drama "My Troublesome Star" (directed by Choi Young-hoon, written by Park Ji-ha, planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by Jumbo Film and Studio Bom), which aired on the 16th, hinted at an exciting development as an incident that shook the lives of Bong Cheong-ja (played by Um Jung-hwa) and Dok Go-cheol (played by Song Seung-heon) surfaced.
That day Bong Cheong-ja showed resentment toward Dok Go-cheol. She was bothered that he had pretended not to know her despite having the chance. Though she grumbled and offered worried reproach, Bong Cheong-ja's gaze as she looked at the sleeping Dok Go-cheol was tender. Remembering the quietly steadfast Dok Go-cheol, Bong Cheong-ja's smile conveyed a deeper emotion.
But the peace did not last long. Rumors of a romance between Bong Cheong-ja and Won Ban (played by Ji Jin-hee) broke out. It was Kang Du-won's (played by Oh Dae-hwan) scheme to make an issue by staging a scandal with the "top star" Won Ban. But Dok Go-cheol flatly denied it, leading to a sharp confrontation with Kang Du-won. Above all, Dok Go-cheol could not hide his discomfort over the dangerous rumors involving Kang Du-won. Unaware of the background, Bong Cheong-ja worried something might be wrong with Dok Go-cheol. What she received in return was Dok Go-cheol's warm but firm reply. At his words, "I will be the one to protect you, not Cheong-ja," her heart trembled.
A foreboding mood continued to loom. Bong Cheong-ja could not pass a trainee who constantly reminded her of her past self. Dok Go-cheol also had past trauma from failing to protect a victim while digging into ugly entertainment industry scandals. The memories that shook Dok Go-cheol's life and still remained painful added to the poignancy.
The trials facing Bong Cheong-ja did not end there. She was blamed by her sister Bong Baek-ja (played by Joo In-young) over the problems of aspiring singer Bong Da-hee (played by Do Young-seo). Bong Baek-ja's anger at criticizing the sister who had struggled for the family was something she could not understand. But she soon heard shocking news. She could not believe that in her lost memories she had cut ties with her family and lived apart from them.
An unexpected incident awaited Bong Cheong-ja. Bong Da-hee, jealous of the trainee about to debut, entered a dangerous place, and Bong Cheong-ja, having learned this, rushed in with her bare body. After a breathless chase, she succeeded in saving Bong Da-hee, but the crisis continued. At the moment Bong Cheong-ja was pushed down the stairs and lost consciousness, Dok Go-cheol was also being cornered while chasing Joo Seung-pil (played by Go Han-min) and his group. The ending, in which two people in crisis crossed paths, foreshadowed a storm.
Meanwhile, a decisive clue to the time-erasing mystery was revealed. Under Min Tae-sook's (played by Cha Cheong-hwa) questioning, Sa Sun-young (played by Jo Yeon-hee) mentioned the existence of a "recorded file." Then a voice recorder found among Bong Seok-bong's (played by Ryu Tae-ho) belongings piqued curiosity as to whether it might be the key to solving the mystery.
