Kim Ddol-ddolli said he disliked being called Hong Seok-cheon.
On the 16th broadcast of SBS "Dolsing Fourmen" (hereafter Dolsing Fourmen), Lee Ji-hye, Son Dam-bi and Kim Ddol-ddolli appeared as guests.
Lee Sang-min asked, "You treat Hong Seok-cheon as a senior, but were you an anti in the past?" and Kim Ddol-ddolli replied, "It wasn't that I was an anti, I just disliked it. In 'Three Men, Three Women' the bald man says 'I hate him to death,' which isn't it unusual?"
He continued, "During school my nickname was also Hong Seok-cheon. That sounded to me like an insult and I hated it. As I lived my life, I turned out to be Hong Seok-cheon," he said, drawing laughter.
Kim Ddol-ddolli also confessed that after realizing his gender identity in fourth grade he wanted to show filial piety to his parents early and lived as a model student. He added, "I instinctively knew I was different in elementary school. But on top of that I was teased as being Hong Seok-cheon, so I studied desperately."
