Actor Yoon Ji-on admitted to drunk driving and apologized.
Yoon Ji-on wrote on her personal SNS on the afternoon of the 17th, "First, I am heavy-hearted and sorry to bring this unfortunate news," and "On Sept. 16 I was so drunk that I do not remember, and I wrongfully rode and moved an unattended motorcycle parked on the road. I have since admitted all charges and am currently assessing the damage situation."
She added, "I have no excuse for making so many of you who supported me feel hurt and disappointed because of my thoughtless actions. I am truly ashamed. I am sorry," and bowed, "I will live with vigilance and repent for the rest of my life so that this never happens again. I will sincerely participate in the forthcoming investigation and accept any penalties handed down."
Yoon Ji-on also said, "There is no room for any excuse. I bow my head and apologize once again. I am sorry," expressing repeated remorse.
Earlier, Yoon Ji-on was caught drunk driving and left the Channel A new drama "A Baby Is Coming" during filming. In addition, her exclusive contract with former agency Ieum Hashtag was terminated on July 6.
The new work "A Baby Is Coming" began filming in July this year and scripts up to episode 6 have been completed. Yoon Ji-on participated in filming last week and had a schedule this week as well, but she withdrew after the drunk driving fact became public. This has caused a major inconvenience to the drama team.
