Singer-songwriter Woo Ye-rin is releasing her new song "Song of the Dry Flowers."
Released about three months after June, this new record is an epic-style track that condenses her unique sensibility.
This new song revisits the oriental-style songwriting she showcased in "Baekyuhwa," "Hwa;wol," and "Hae-eo-hwa," which left a strong impression on the public early in her career. Beginning with a wistful piano melody layered with Woo Ye-rin's enchanting vocals, it builds with drums and bass and culminates in a lavish, grand string sound.
In particular, this song honestly expresses not only bright and hopeful emotions but also darker inner feelings such as thirst and powerlessness that oppose hope, and despair, showing the artist's deeper growth.
Along with working on this new song, Woo Ye-rin performed actively for audiences on various stages this summer, including Mu:Con Seoul 2025, Dogo Music Festival, and Gyeongpo Summer Festival. In particular, she drew attention from overseas industry figures through the stage at Mu:Con Seoul 2025, the country's largest global music market.
She is also scheduled to appear in October at GMF 2025 (Grand Mint Festival), considered a representative fall festival for music fans. Through this, she is expected to further solidify her presence on the festival scene.
The new song "Song of the Dry Flowers" is available today (17th) at 6 p.m. on all music sites including Melon, Genie and Flo.
