Group SHINee member and solo singer Taemin announced a successful start to his tour as he wrapped up the Kanagawa performance, the first city of the 2025 TAEMIN ARENA TOUR "Veil" (2025 Taemin arena tour "Veil").
Taemin electrified local fans with powerful stages at Pia Arena Kanagawa from the 13th to the 15th.
Last year Taemin held concerts in Japan as part of the world tour "Ephemeral Gaze," but holding a solo arena tour in Japan is especially meaningful as it is the first time in five years since 2019.
Taemin began by overwhelming the audience with the opening stage "Heaven," featuring a shocking production in which he hung from a cross structure.
Next, the stage for the special digital single title track "Veil," released on the 13th, was unveiled for the first time. Taemin's intense performance and aura perfectly realized the narrative contained in the new song on stage.
Taemin raised the energy in the venue by consecutively presenting hit songs such as "Bones," "Advice+IDEA," "Sexy In The Air," "Criminal," and "Guilty."
For the ending stage he performed a variety of songs including "Tease," "Famous," and "Mars," and an encore stage followed amid fans' cheers.
At the encore stage, by fans' requests he spontaneously performed songs he had released locally with the live band, creating a moment of connection. He also closed the show by performing "Finale," a track from the special digital single "Veil," live.
Through this tour, Taemin, who collaborated with a live band for the first time in a solo concert, garnered strong responses with performances that simultaneously showcased artistry and a live feel, splendidly opening the tour.
Taemin will continue the tour in Saga on the 20th–21st, Shizuoka on Oct. 4–5, Chiba on Nov. 29–30, and Hyogo on Dec. 24–25.
