Group BigBang will perform at the United States' largest music festival, "2026 Coachella."
On the 16th (Korean time), Coachella revealed the lineup of artists appearing at the 2026 Coachella on its official website.
The United States' largest music festival, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (Coachella), will be held in Indio, California, starting Apr. 10 next year, and BigBang's inclusion on the lineup is drawing attention.
Earlier, BigBang was scheduled to make its comeback stage at Coachella in Apr. 2020 after military discharge, but the performance was canceled due to the spread of COVID-19, disappointing fans. Now they will stand on the Coachella stage again after six years.
Especially since next year marks BigBang's 20th anniversary since debut, it is expected to be an even more meaningful stage for fans. BigBang will perform on the Coachella stage on Apr. 12 and 19 next year.
In addition to BigBang, Taemin and Catzeye will appear at the 2026 Coachella, and Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G will headline.
Meanwhile, Coachella, which began in 1999 and boasts tradition and prestige, is a music festival held for two weeks in Indio, California, that has drawn about 300,000 spectators each year. The Coachella venue is about 92 times the size of Seoul's Jamsil Stadium and is a festival that exchanges cultural trends across music, fashion, lifestyle and more.
BLACKPINK became the first K-pop artist to headline in 2023, and this year's performances included BLACKPINK's Jennie, Lisa, and ENHYPEN appearing.
