SNS star Marian Izaguirre found dead after 'clown makeup farewell video'
A popular Mexican influencer Marian Izaguirre, who had 4.1 million followers, died after releasing a shocking update video.
According to foreign media including the British Daily Mail, Marian Izaguirre was declared brain-dead at a hospital in Morelia, Mexico, on the 12th and later died. Local prosecutors said the family agreed to organ donation.
The tragedy was foreshadowed in the weeks leading up to it. Izaguirre recently appeared on her social media in clown makeup with tears in her eyes, posting a video that seemed to hint at a farewell and left a caption saying, "All the promises of my love leave with you. Why are you leaving?" which shocked fans.
She was last seen on Sept. 1 west of Mexico City in Uruapan, after which contact was lost and the family filed a missing person report. Mexican authorities issued the emergency missing women search alert "Alba Alert."
Five days later, Izaguirre was found at a hotel in Morelia and was immediately taken to a hospital but never regained consciousness. Local media reported that she had stayed at the hotel for several days, and the red Kia Rio last seen was also found at the scene.
Police are investigating the circumstances of Izaguirre's death.
