"Queen of deduction" Park Ji-yoon shared her thoughts on returning with "Crime Scene Zero."
On the 16th at the Ramada Hotel in Sindorim, Guro District, Seoul, a press conference was held for the Netflix entertainment show "Crime Scene Zero." The event was attended by PD Yun Hyun-jun, PD Hwang Seul-woo, Jang Jin, Park Ji-yoon, Jang Dong-min, Kim Ji-hoon and Ahn Yu-jin.
"Crime Scene Zero," which will be released on Tuesday, Sept. 23, is a legendary role-playing mystery game in which players who become suspects and detectives find the criminal hiding among them. As it makes its debut to global viewers, it promises a new season faithful to the fun and essence of the cases, raising expectations for the return of the legendary mystery variety show.
On the day Park Ji-yoon said, "In real life I haven't often been called a queen, but within this world I've been treated as the queen of deduction and I'm happy. Also, greeting viewers on Netflix feels like a new start, so I approached it that way," sharing her thoughts.
She continued, "Actually I felt a lot of pressure because I'm the only participant who took part since season 1. I thought it was clear that a large number of new viewers would come in. Because of that, I felt pressured. I had to show why so many fans were crazy about 'Crime Scene.' I felt the weight of having to protect the reasons people have loved me so far," she confessed.
She added, "I hope people know I did a lot of invisible grooming to keep the flow steady so new guests and members could settle in well."
Then Jang Dong-min revealed, "You showed that kind of territorial behavior. You wouldn't let others show their energy," and Park Ji-yoon retorted, "You have to assert dominance first. Viewers will be on high alert, so I put in a lot of energy. I think I stepped forward and gave a crazy performance," drawing laughter.
