Brown Eyed Soul will make a comeback on the 23rd at 6 p.m. with their fifth full-length album Soul Tricycle, offering diverse R&B and soul music that spans eras.
Brown Eyed Soul (Jung Yep, Naul, Youngjun) released an album sampler for their fifth full-length album Soul Tricycle on the 15th. The video features scenes such as cassette tapes, raindrops, sparklers and music video clips that harmonize with the mood of each song, conveying Brown Eyed Soul's musical world more deeply.
The title track of the fifth full-length album, Our Moment, is a 1990s contemporary pop R&B song that sings of memories of times that cannot be returned to. It is expected to once again deliver a deep resonance to those who empathize with the music of that era and to fans who have loved Brown Eyed Soul's music.
The album includes eight new songs and six previously released tracks from the half album for a total of 14 tracks: the intro track Soul Tricycle; Maybe You Are Like This, which features a 1970s soul rhythm and prominent brass section; Love Scat (Feat. Cosmic Chips), a 1960s southern soul–style song featuring Jung Yep's band Cosmic Chips; Flowing Night City, in the 1970s Philly soul style; This Night, Us, a mid-tempo contemporary R&B that evokes 1990s nostalgia; Every Day I Love You, an R&B ballad with added jazz romanticism; and Familiar Story, an emotional track collaborated on with Echo Bridge.
The album title Soul Tricycle carries a special symbolism of the tricycle. The number 3 represents a perfect number and the most stable structure, and just as a child happily starts by riding a tricycle when first learning to ride a bicycle, Brown Eyed Soul also expresses their commitment that the three members will start anew together and enjoy making music.
Along with the album release at 6 p.m. on the 23rd, Brown Eyed Soul will hold three solo concerts at Seoul Gocheok Sky Dome to mark the Christmas season on Dec. 24, 25 and 27.
Meanwhile, Brown Eyed Soul will announce ticket sale schedules and related information for the solo concerts at Gocheok Dome on Dec. 24, 25 and 27 later through their official channels.
