"Groom School" stars Kim Il-woo and Park Sun-young push for their dogs' first meeting.
On the episode airing on the 17th of Channel A's "These Days' Men Life - Groom School" (hereafter "Groom School"), episode 181, Kim Il-woo and Park Sun-young are shown on a date in Gangneung with their respective dogs.
That day Kim Il-woo goes out to greet Park Sun-young, who traveled to Gangneung with her dog. Park Sun-young appears smiling with her dog, and especially by changing to a permed hairstyle she makes Kim Il-woo's heart skip a beat. In the studio, "principal" Lee Seung-chul, watching the sweet atmosphere between the two, asks, "Who did she get the perm for?" becoming fully absorbed.
Afterward the two introduce their dogs to each other and take a walk together, then enter a pet-friendly hotel and make earnest efforts to get closer. During this, Park Sun-young offers a nutritional supplement gift she prepared for Kim Il-woo.
She also personally gives him a hand massage, saying "it's good for blood circulation." Surprised by the unexpected event, Kim Il-woo jokes, "There's no special reason you're doing this, right? It's broad daylight now?" Park Sun-young laughs and replies, "Do you hope there's a reason?" heating up the scene.
Meanwhile, the two enjoy a hearty meal at a restaurant with their dogs. While eating with fresh makgeolli alongside a water parsley pancake, Park Sun-young admits, "It's not easy to introduce dogs (like at a formal meeting), and if families oppose a marriage ahead of time, it can be really difficult," She adds that she thinks the most important thing is the two people's feelings, saying, "I think the most important thing is the two people's emotions (their liking)." Kim Il-woo, however, asks unexpectedly, "Doesn't your younger brother say, 'Bring your brother-in-law over' sometimes?" Park Sun-young shares a "real sibling" anecdote about her younger brother and replies, "Next time let's have my younger brother join too," making Kim Il-woo smile.
