"Walking On Thin Ice" director Song Hyun-wook answered whether Lee Young-ae and Kim Young-kwang have a romance.
On the afternoon of the 16th at The Saint in Sindorim, Guro-gu, Seoul, a production presentation was held for KBS2's new Saturday-Sunday drama "Walking On Thin Ice." Director Song Hyun-wook and actors Lee Young-ae, Kim Young-kwang and Park Yong-woo attended the production presentation and talked.
"Walking On Thin Ice" is a work that depicts the bloody, dangerous partners-in-crime diary that unfolds when Kang Eun-su (played by Lee Young-ae), a parent who wants to protect her family, and the two-faced teacher Lee Kyung (played by Kim Young-kwang) happen upon a bag of drugs.
That day director Song Hyun-wook, when asked whether a love line between Lee Young-ae and Kim Young-kwang appears in the work, said, "(In the highlight video) there is a scene where the two hold hands and run, and that scene is urgent and tense, but as they run and Eun-su looks up at the sky, I felt that part was melodic and touched the emotions," he began.
He added, "In the drama Eun-su and Lee Kyung meet as partners, bicker, fight, betray each other and there are many stories. Whether that develops into a romance or how it unfolds you will know when you watch the broadcast," he said, increasing curiosity.
Meanwhile, "Walking On Thin Ice" premieres on the 20th at 9:20 p.m.
