Model and YouTuber Aori (real name Kim Min-young, 33) purchased an apartment in Samseong-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul, for 6.6 billion won.
According to the court registry on the 15th, Aori bought a 145-square-meter (55-pyeong) exclusive unit on the 25th floor of the Samseong-dong I'Park in Gangnam District for 6.6 billion won in June, and after paying the remaining balance on the 10th, she completed the transfer of ownership registration.
The registry shows that a commercial bank mortgage with a maximum claim amount of 2.335 billion won was registered. Considering that the maximum claim amount is typically about 120% of the loan amount, it is estimated that about 1.868 billion won was actually covered by a bank loan.
Since March, the three Gangnam districts (Gangnam, Seocho and Songpa) and Yongsan District have been designated as land transaction permission zones, so Aori is likely to live in the unit herself due to the owner-occupancy requirement.
Completed in 2004, the Samseong-dong I'Park is still considered one of the most expensive complexes in Gangnam. In May, a 269-square-meter (penthouse) unit was sold at auction for around 13 billion won, setting the highest price record for an apartment auction. It is currently known that broadcaster Jun Hyun-moo and the actor couple Kwon Sang Woo and Son Tae-young live there.
Aori married Seo Joo-won, a contestant on Channel A's Heart Signal Season 1, in 2018 but divorced Seo Joo-won in 2022. Since then, she has run the online store Roar while continuing her activities as a YouTuber and influencer, and her YouTube subscriber count reaches about 750,000.
