The group ENHYPEN added another 100-million-stream song on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform.
On the 16th, Spotify reported that 'Brought The Heat Back,' a track from ENHYPEN's (Jeongwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Ni-ki) second full-length album ROMANCE : UNTOLD, had been played 101,191,915 times as of the 14th. Thus, 'Brought The Heat Back' joined ENHYPEN's tally as their 14th song to exceed 100 million streams.
Released in July last year, 'Brought The Heat Back' captures a boy's blustery emotions as he is taken aback by jealousy for the first time over the person he loves, while trying to keep his composure. With its funky sound and upbeat energy, the song showcased ENHYPEN's distinctive charm and gained global popularity. The flashy and dynamic "flawless synchronized choreography" added to the visual appeal.
The second full-length album ROMANCE : UNTOLD, which includes 'Brought The Heat Back,' saw all members participate in lyric writing, composing and producing, and HYBE's chief producer Bang Si-hyuk carefully oversaw the project to enhance its completeness. With this album, ENHYPEN became a triple million-seller for the first time since their debut, solidifying their position as K-pop's top tier.
ENHYPEN's total cumulative streams on Spotify for all songs released to date exceed 5.7 billion. 'FEVER' and 'Bite Me' have more than 400 million streams each; 'Drunk-Dazed' and 'Polaroid Love' have more than 300 million each; 'Given-Taken' has more than 200 million; and 'Sweet Venom,' 'XO (Only If You Say Yes),' 'Tamed-Dashed,' 'Future Perfect (Pass the MIC),' 'SHOUT OUT,' 'Blessed-Cursed,' 'Mo animyeon do (Go Big or Go Home),' 'No Doubt,' and 'Brought The Heat Back' each have more than 100 million streams.
ENHYPEN's world tour ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR 'WALK THE LINE' is proceeding smoothly. ENHYPEN will meet ENGENE (the fandom name) at Singapore Indoor Stadium from Oct. 3 to 5, then hold an encore concert at KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Songpa District, Seoul from Oct. 24 to 26 to conclude the world tour.
