On Running Man, Yoo Jae-suk shared his impressions after hosting Kim Jong-kook's wedding.
On the Apr. 14 episode of SBS variety show Running Man, impressions of Kim Jong-kook's wedding were shared.
That day, Ji Seok-jin worried to Kim Jong-kook, "It won't be easy to guess the number of guests at the wedding." Kim Jong-kook joked, "That's why I excluded you, hyung," and said, "I was worried about it, but I organized it. Thanks," which made Ji Seok-jin reply, "No, I'm going to go," prompting laughter.
Above all, Yoo Jae-suk, who served as master of ceremonies at Kim Jong-kook's wedding, revealed an behind-the-scenes story from the past.
On a previous episode, Yoo Jae-suk expressed his bewilderment, saying, "I only found out today," and "I also have a recording that day. Jong-kook is holding his 30th anniversary concert this year. So I thought, 'What about doing something for the 30th anniversary concert?' He asked me to be the host. I said, 'There might be a recording that day?' but it really was a wedding." Still, Yoo Jae-suk promised to attend, saying, "I'll somehow move up the recording schedule (and go). Jong-kook must be there," and he emphasized, "Don't worry because I'll host it with dignity."
Yoo Jae-suk recalled a pledge from 12 years ago, saying, "In the past I said if Jong-kook got married I'd enter with a flounder tail stuck on." A video was also shown of him actually saying, "I'll pin it on my suit when I go to the wedding."
When Yoo Jae-suk said, "I really can't stick a flounder on," Haha laughed, "Use dried flounder," and everyone said, "Yes, that's good." They revealed a recent photo from the actual wedding showing Yoo Jae-suk attending wearing the suit with a flounder pinned on, completing the pledge.
