Actor An Ji-hye expressed her gratitude as KBS 2TV weekend miniseries and Disney+ "Twelve" concluded.
In the drama, An Ji-hye played Malsuk, the "horse angel," who among the "12 angels" possesses the fastest speed and explosive propulsion, showing a strong presence with dynamic action driven by combat instincts and delicate emotional acting. In particular, in episode 7, the duel scene with Yangmi (the "sheep angel") who returned from the past delivered action full of speed and impact that raised the drama's tension to its peak. With solid stamina, innate athleticism, and eyes and movements that melted into the character, Malsuk showed the image of a "hard-carry angel."
Through her agency, An Ji-hye said, "The time spent with Twelve was truly unforgettable and precious moments for me. It was a journey made possible because I was with excellent seniors, fellow actors and the best staff." She added, "I thank directors Kang Dae-gyu and Han Yoon-seon, stunt coordinators Heo Myung-haeng, Yoon Seong-min and Yumi-jin, who worked hard for great scenes even in cold weather. I also deeply thank Ma Dong-seok, Seo In-guk, Seong Dong-il and senior Ko Gyu-pil for their warm advice and support."
She also expressed affection for the co-stars. "I am grateful to my dependable colleagues Joo-yi, Mi-na, Yu-bin and Regina Lei, and I sincerely thank everyone who loved and cheered for 'Malsuk-i.'"
Malsuk, whose fierce fighting ability and charming personality blend together, is one of the most memorable characters in "Twelve," and through this work An Ji-hye showed a new charm that makes her future activities more anticipated.
