On the 15th episode of TV Chosun's entertainment show The Romantic of Joseon, Kim Byung-man disclosed his wedding date.
Before the monitor segment that day, Kim Byung-man delivered the surprise news, saying "I will hold the wedding on Sept. 20."
Everyone celebrated and blessed the new beginning of Kim Byung-man, a master romantic, saying "Congratulations."
Meanwhile, Kim Byung-man registered his marriage with his former wife, a person surnamed A, in 2010, but they began living separately in 2012, started divorce proceedings in 2019, and their marriage ended in 2023. During the divorce process, the former wife accused Kim Byung-man of habitual domestic violence and filed a criminal complaint, but the police forwarded the case with a recommendation of non-prosecution, and the prosecution also dismissed the case. Kim Byung-man registered his marriage in 2010 to a person surnamed A who is seven years older, and adopted A's daughter, a person surnamed B who was 9 at the time, as his legal child. The Seoul Family Court ruled in favor of Kim Byung-man in his third lawsuit seeking to have B legally severed from the former family. Having settled his previous family matters, Kim Byung-man is preparing to remarry in September. He currently has two biological children with his wife.
