Actress Go Hyun-jung quietly cheered for Annie (Moon Seoyoon) of the group ALLDAY PROJECT (ALDAYP), who is the daughter of the Shinsegae group family, her former in-laws, and the niece of her ex-husband, drawing attention.
Recently, fashion magazine W KOREA's official SNS released pictorials of Annie, a member of ALLDAY PROJECT, and Go Hyun-jung drew attention by liking the post. There was no comment, but as a senior entertainer, her cheering for her former in-law's niece drew warm reactions.
Annie, born in 2002, is the eldest daughter of Shinsegae Chairwoman Chung Yoo-kyung, the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group honorary chairwoman Lee Myung-hee, and the niece of Shinsegae Vice Chairman Chung Yong-jin. Go Hyun-jung, a former Miss Korea, married Vice Chairman Chung in 1995 and they divorced by mutual agreement in 2003.
Annie, who showed success as a singer with ALLDAY, said on a broadcast, "When I was young, whenever songs by seniors like 2NE1 or Big Bang came out, I had to try to imitate them. Since 'Lollipop' came out. I always had to take CL's part. My younger sibling wasn't very interested, so I gave them chocolate and said, 'Eat this and memorize the other members' parts,'" saying she had been interested in becoming a singer since childhood.
Go Hyun-jung is currently meeting viewers in the SBS Fri.-Sat. drama The Mantis: Original Sin. According to ratings company Nielsen Korea on the 13th, the third episode of The Mantis: Original Sin, which aired on the 12th (directed by Byun Young-joo, written by Lee Young-jong), recorded a nationwide rating of 7.3%, marking its highest ever.
