Actor Kang Eun-bi (39, birth name Joo Mi-jin) personally shared her pregnancy news. Only three months after marriage, she called the new life "a miraculous gift" and expressed her overwhelming feelings.
On the 15th, Kang wrote on her Instagram, "Because we have looked out for each other for so many years, our hearts longed for a child. I had worries about being born in '86 and being forty, but we decided not to rush," adding, "Gratefully, a precious little angel came to us in just three months. The due date is May 2026."
She continued, "Becoming a mother is wondrous and at times scary, but above all I feel grateful," and explained, "The prenatal nickname is 'Sansami.' It carries the joy of 'finding it in just three months through a natural pregnancy' and our hope that the baby grows up healthy."
Kang Eun-bi married Byun Jun-pil, a same-age college alumnus, in April. The two became entangled in a dating rumor once in 2008 and continued their connection, becoming a married couple after 17 years. Byun, who first became known as a former "ulzzang," now works in interior design.
Kang Eun-bi, who debuted with the 2005 film Wet Dreams 2, appeared in the drama The Vineyard Man, drama My Too Perfect Sons, and the film Wrestling, and gained mainstream popularity through the variety show X-Man.
