On the 14th episode of the SBS variety show My Ugly Duckling (hereafter My Ugly Duckling), they celebrated Kim Jong-kook's marriage.
On that day, in response to the news of Kim Jong-kook's marriage, Kim Hee-chul mentioned rumors, saying, "Isn't she someone he met at the gym?" and additionally said, "There are also claims she is the daughter of a CEO from Los Angeles or an English instructor."

Kim Jong-kook said precisely, "It's not all like the rumors: she's not from Los Angeles, not a cosmetics CEO, not an English instructor. It's not even close to the truth. It's fake; except for the gender, none of it is true — only that I am married is correct."
Hearing this, Kim Hee-chul said, "Kim Jong-kook's wife's face even appears; if you search for Kim Jong-kook's bride it comes up," and went so far as to bring up an AI video of Kim Jong-kook entering a wedding hall with the Babel bride.
Kim Jong-kook said, "I'm not that out of my mind," in disbelief. Kim Hee-chul responded, "I actually believed the (Babel bride) more; you couldn't marry a person," prompting laughter.
