# average age 18, the one-and-only "high-end refreshing boy band"
IDID is a one-and-only "high-end refreshing boy band" filled with pleasant energy, with an average age of 18 from leader Jang Yong-hoon to the youngest Jeong Se-min. The members, who combine appealing visuals and "good vibes," won fans' hearts before debut through familiar yet fresh charm via various communication channels such as social media and YouTube channels.
In particular, through the self-produced content series Narahat IDID released over eight weeks, they showed the members' unique characters and neighborhood-friend–like teamwork, increasing anticipation for IDID's debut: leader Jang Yong-hoon, a "foodie"; Kim Min-jae, whose onstage and offstage personas are polar opposites; shy chef Park Won-bin; Chu Yoo-chan, the "lip prince" who always thinks of fans whether sitting or standing; Park Sung-hyun, a 4D-charm "gag character"; Baek Jun-hyuk, who has extreme tension; and the responsible youngest, Jeong Se-min.
# all-rounder skills + stage experience combined, a "complete idol"
IDID is a seven-member boy group selected by Starship, the "house of artists," through the large-scale project "Debut's Plan," recognized for the attributes an idol should have such as dance, singing, fan communication skills, and expressiveness. They are a complete idol with all-rounder skills whose gaze changes when they are doing their main job, showing polar-opposite personas on and off stage.
Through "Debut's Plan," IDID performed various stage missions and live stages, experienced special stages on domestic main music shows, and gained diverse stage experience that raised expectations for a mega rookie set to shake up the 5th-generation idol market, including making a global-stage debut with "M Countdown" at KCON LA 2025 in Los Angeles, U.S., with "STEP IT UP," a track from their first mini album I did it..
# every track is a title track! a top-tier polished debut album
The debut album that will mark the first page of IDID's story, I did it., captures IDID's unique identity by showing the members' unrefined emotions and energy as they are, conveying the conviction that you can be cool even if you're not perfect, and the attitude of making imperfections brilliant. The title track, "Shining as I please," is a song with a free and energetic sensibility; acoustic guitar and rhythmic drums drive an upbeat sound on which the members' refreshing vocals are layered, showing IDID's bright and cool youthful energy.
A total of eight songs are included on IDID's debut album, including the title track "Shining as I please," "SLOW TIDE," "STEP IT UP," "ImPerfect," "So G.oo.D (I like you like crazy)," "STICKY BOMB," "The moment that pierces a dream (飛必沖天)," and "CROWN to bloom." Through collaborations with global producers, including U.S. producer Dem Jointz, who has worked on albums for world-class pop stars and global K-pop artists, they created a highly polished debut album in which every track could be considered a title track, gathering expectations for IDID's debut activities.
Meanwhile, IDID will hold a media showcase at 2 p.m. and a fan showcase at 8 p.m. today (15th) at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin District, Seoul. IDID will open a pop-up store for fans to communicate more closely from Sept. 18 to Oct. 1 at Photoism Play in Mangwon-dong, Mapo District, Seoul.
