BLACKPINK Lisa drew attention by appearing at the Emmys, the largest U.S. television awards ceremony.
Lisa appeared on the red carpet for the 77th Emmys held in Los Angeles (LA), U.S., at 9 a.m. on the 15th (Korea time).
Lisa made her acting debut as the Thai character Mook in the recently aired "White Lotus" season 3. That season was nominated in as many as 23 categories, including the drama institutional sector's best picture, and Lisa also appeared on the ceremony's red carpet.
Lisa caught eyes by choosing a pink dress that day. It was a custom dress by German brand Lever Couture, combining voluminous ribbon details, a thigh-high slit, and a long sheer train to create a glamorous yet dreamy atmosphere. She added luxury with jeweled high heels and jewelry.
Although she was not nominated for an individual acting award, Lisa left an impression by being nominated in the variety/reality program choreography category for the James Bond tribute performance she presented with Doja Cat and Rae at the recent Oscars. That award went back to Doecii for her Grammy performance.
Earlier, in an interview with media outlets, Lisa said, "I was nervous because it was my first acting challenge, but I was happy to introduce Thai culture and to grow through the character," and added, "Even after the work ended, Mook will remain a special meaning in my life."
Lisa is currently performing the BLACKPINK world tour "Deadline" schedule and is set to resume performances starting Oct. 18.
