The group Forestella delivered a live performance on a different level at its encore concert.
Forestella (Bae Doo-hoon, Kang Hyung-ho, Jo Min-kyu, Go Woo-rim) held the 2025 encore concert THE WAVE at Kyung Hee University Peace Hall in Seoul on the 13th and 14th.
Having successfully concluded the nationwide THE WAVE tour in Busan and Daegu after starting in Seoul in July, Forestella continued the tour's emotion with encore performances. They especially delivered a different level of enjoyment from previous shows by adding new song selections and vivid instrument sounds.
With a grand piano and an acoustic session featuring a string quartet, Forestella delivered weighty resonance. The song Flower Vase, performed on last week's KBS2 Immortal Songs, and the newly prepared Nocturne for this encore concert unfolded with the four members' delicate and beautiful harmonies. The combination of real instrumental performance and Forestella's three-dimensional harmony brought shivers felt only at the venue.
Forestella also treated ears to their covers of famous songs that have become legendary in every broadcast and festival, from original songs Everything, White Night, and And Then Spring to Angel, Scarborough Fair, and Shape of You.
Stages such as Abracadabra, Bad Romance, and HandClap, performed in sync with dance team The Page and LJ, raised the heat with Forestella's charismatic performances.
With this THE WAVE tour, presented in full for the first time in two years, Forestella sustained a streak of sold-out shows and proved their reputation as a concert powerhouse. After successfully finishing the encore concert, Forestella will meet audiences on the 20th with a solo show in Tongyeong, Music Meets an Island–Yonghodo Forestella. That performance drew intense anticipation after selling out all seats 62 seconds after tickets opened.
