The revelation of Jeong In-seon's adoption shocked everyone.
Episode 11 of the KBS 2TV weekend drama Our Golden Days (directed by Kim Hyeong-seok / written by So Hyun-gyeong / produced by Studio Comingsoon, Studio Bom, Monster Union), which aired at 8 p.m. on the 13th, depicted Lee Ji-hyeok (played by Jeong Il-woo) and Park Seong-jae (played by Yoon Hyun-min) each tending to Ji Eun-o (played by Jeong In-seon), who was hurt by Ji Kang-o (played by Yang Hyuk).
In the episode, Kang-o, enraged after learning Eun-o is not his biological older sister, rushed to the cafe. Ji-hyeok and Seong-jae tried to stop him, but their efforts failed against the agitated Kang-o. Despite being deeply hurt, Eun-o calmly continued her work at her mother Jeong Sun-hui's (played by Kim Jeong-young) shop. The realization that Eun-o, who usually brightened those around her with a cheerful smile, was hiding a private pain drew sympathy not only from Ji-hyeok, Seong-jae and Oh Su-jeong (played by Im Young-joo) but also from viewers.
Meanwhile, Park Jin-seok (played by Park Seong-geun) invited his son Seong-jae to a meal to urge him to marry. When Jin-seok said, "You should meet someone like your mother," and Seong-jae showed reluctance to accept Go Seong-hee (played by Lee Tae-ran) as his mother, tension filled the dinner as Jin-seok and Seong-jae clashed.
Meanwhile, Lee Sang-cheol (played by Cheon Ho-jin) awkwardly ran into a classmate while distributing flyers for a part-time job, and seeing a friend in a situation similar to his own left him feeling bitter once again. With Jo Ok-rye (played by Ban Hyo-jung) and Kim Jang-su (played by Yoon Joo-sang) continuing to work part-time, and Kim Da-jeong (played by Kim Hee-jung) also jumping into the job market, the whole family's preparations for employment intensified.
Troubled by Kang-o not returning home after their argument, Eun-o tried to suppress her feelings by forcing herself to work. Ji-hyeok paid close attention, even intentionally working outside the cafe for her sake. Later, when Seong-jae secretly gave her lozenges and vitamins through Su-jeong, Ji-hyeok began to feel a strange emotion.
Ji-hyeok showed responsibility by applying for a loan using his car, which his younger brother Lee Ji-wan (played by Son Sang-yeon) had brought, as collateral, to keep his promise to Eun-o. Eun-o also, after working through the night, accidentally saw Ji-hyeok's worn files while he slept and felt how earnest he was about studying interior design and his business.
At the end of the broadcast, Ji-hyeok woke up and grabbed Eun-o's wrist as she tried to leave with his notebook, creating a subtle thrill that focused attention on the two's romance.
