Singer Lee Seung-hwan announced his retirement from performing.
In the early hours of the 14th, Lee Seung-hwan posted on his social account, "When I finish a performance and come home, I prepare another performance. I have lived like this for 35 years. I will live like this only until November," he wrote.
Earlier, on the 1st he had declared the end of band activities, saying, "I will be active as 'Lee Seung-hwan Band' only until November. It was a long decision."
In fact, last August he held the "Lee Seung-hwan Band last fan meeting," hinting at the end of the band's activities. Amid this, he specified the timing by saying "only until November."
Lee Seung-hwan debuted in 1989 with his first album 'B.C 603' and has performed with the Lee Seung-hwan Band for 35 years. Faced with the news of the end of his band activities, fans expressed sadness and regret while leaving supportive comments such as "We will support and cheer for you no matter what" and "You said it would be as 'Lee Seung-hwan Band,' so we look forward to activities as 'Lee Seung-hwan.'"
Meanwhile, Lee Seung-hwan is currently conducting a nationwide concert tour commemorating his 35th debut anniversary.
