TV CHOSUN weekend miniseries 'ConfiDence Man KR' Park Min-young, Park Hee-soon and Joo Jong-hyuk transform into the rural-dispatched "three matchmakers" and deliver extreme performances against Lee Yi-kyung.
'ConfiDence Man KR' (written by Hong Seung-hyun and Kim Da-hye, directed by Nam Ki-hoon, produced by TM E Group) ranked 8th in TV drama buzz and entered the drama TV-OTT search reaction TOP 10 for the first week of Sept. as announced by FUNdex and Good Day Corporation, and it also proved growing momentum with a steady increase in visitors to Naver Open Talk.
In the previous third episode, Yoon Yi-rang (played by Park Min-young), James (played by Park Hee-soon) and Myung Gu-ho (played by Joo Jong-hyuk) dreamed of revenge against the star art critic Yoomyeong-han (played by Lee Yi-kyung), who has a dark bare face, but they faced a crisis when Yoomyeong-han reported the work of Kim Yong-bok (played by Choi Hong-il), the forged piece that had been bait, at the last moment. In particular, the "nerve-rattling ending" showing Yoomyeong-han seemingly staring at Yoon Yi-rang, who had screamed toward the captured Kim Yong-bok, raised the tension.
In connection with this, the fourth episode airing today, the 14th, will reveal Park Hee-soon's shocking disguise scene, which was mentioned even at the production presentation. In the drama, James, who transformed into an old rural gentleman, leads Yoon Yi-rang and Myung Gu-ho in a brazen acting performance against Yoomyeong-han. At that moment, Yoon Yi-rang and Myung Gu-ho, who appear where the two are, act out wholehearted shock and a relaxed twist, enraging Yoomyeong-han. Viewers will wonder what single line from the two who shook Yoomyeong-han will be, and whether James, who perfectly concealed his identity through makeup and acting, can keep his identity hidden until the end.
Meanwhile, in the "three matchmakers' transformation" scene, Park Hee-soon surprised everyone with makeup that shone after an epic six-hour process, eliciting laughter.
