Singer Baek Ji-young criticized a staff member's spending during a YouTube content shoot and offered practical advice.
On the 13th, Baek Ji-young's official YouTube channel uploaded a video titled "Even husband Jung Suk-won was surprised: the real influence of big spender Baek Ji-young among merchants (Eunma Arcade fruit shop, rice cake shop)."
Toward the end of the video, after filming, while chatting with staff, Baek Ji-young was startled by a staff member's spending habits. The staff revealed that during an overseas shoot in Germany they purchased luxury brand Chanel items, and Jung Suk-won added, "The necklace is Hermes, too." Baek Ji-young responded, "She even wears Chanel shoes. She's better than me. I don't have a necklace like that."
When Jung Suk-won asked, "Are you wealthy by nature?," the staff replied, "No. I don't save money; I spend it all." Baek Ji-young frowned and gave practical advice: "What if you spend it all without saving? You need to prepare for your old age. You can't spend it all."
Jung Suk-won retorted, "It's okay. You spent it all when you were young, too," and Baek Ji-young honestly confessed about her past spending, drawing laughter: "That's why I can talk. My money all went down the toilet." Jung Suk-won then mimicked his wife, "The borrowing is no joke. 'Hey, don't pay, you jerk,'" and Baek Ji-young chimed in, "I've never seen money come out of someone else's pocket," showing a warm couple chemistry.
Earlier, Baek Ji-young also openly revealed her assets.
A fan asked the couple how much their assets amounted to, and Baek Ji-young honestly answered, "We have two cars and one house." Jung Suk-won said, "It's hers," referring to Baek Ji-young's assets, and Baek Ji-young defended him, "It's our assets." Another fan commented, "Suk-won is shrinking," which drew laughter. Meanwhile, it is reported that Baek Ji-young and Jung Suk-won live in an approximately 80-pyeong house in Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul.
