"Let's Go Go season 5" actor Jang Hyuk revealed his life living alone.
On the 13th episode of the MBN real variety show "Let's Go Go season 5" (hereinafter "Let's Gogo"), Jang Hyuk, who for the first time in his debut revealed his home, appeared. Jang Hyuk's wife and children are currently living abroad, and Jang Hyuk was living as a gireogi dad.
Modern white-toned walls and built-in closets, wooden floors and an ivory-toned sofa — Jang Hyuk's neat and elegant home looked like a photo spread as it was, without any clutter. Passing the wall where character figures of Jang Hyuk from his works and paintings were hung, except for the room where Jang Hyuk keeps movie DVDs, most spaces retained only a clean feeling.
Jang Hyuk said, "There is no TV. To educate the children when they were young, we filled the TV area and created spaces on the living room wall for various storage," introducing a small rocking chair, "The small rocker is mine. I sit there spacing out after boxing," "The interior spaces are all my wife's ideas."
He then drew attention by introducing everything from tasteful lighting to flamboyant lights and designer lighting used in the interior.
He boasted that he is close friends with Park Jun-hyung that day. Park Jun-hyung said, "When I came to Korea to work in the U.S., I saw Jang Hyuk for the first time. He was so handsome and really so pretty. But he somehow looked sad," describing his first impression of Jang Hyuk. Jang Hyuk said, "Park Jun-hyung was a healthy and cool American, but after coming into the lodging he became a sad American," and recounted the harsh trainee days.
Park Jun-hyung said, "When I came to Korea I really looked great at 88–91kg. In a year and a half I went down to 63kg. People say that's cool, but you just get like that if you starve," describing the hardships, and Jang Hyuk said, "Park Jun-hyung losing weight isn't even a topic. We were all starving together so everyone was losing weight," saying it was not surprising.
Jang Hyuk said, "After debut I taught various poses," saying he was also a teacher to god. In particular, he said he taught Yoon Kye-sang acting and that it must have served as a foundation. In response, Hong Hyun-hee exclaimed, "So did Jang Hyuk create Yoon Kye-sang's Jang Chen?" and Jang Hyuk smiled bashfully.
Also, Jang Hyuk recounted a story about Yoon Kye-sang, saying, "Yoon Kye-sang has loyalty. When Yoon Kye-sang was sick and I had no money, I took him to a snack bar. I told him I'd at least buy him ramen. But he said he couldn't eat by himself. Still, I scolded him to eat, saying what would the other members do if even Yoon Kye-sang collapsed," sharing a non-celebrity-like anecdote about Yoon Kye-sang.
While talking about his early debut days, Jang Hyuk also brought up Jeon Ji-hyun. Jang Hyuk said, "I acted in a drama with Jeon Ji-hyun," and said, "She's just like a younger sister. Up until then, there were only two rookie actors, the two of us. The male rookie was me, the female rookie was me. We practiced acting together. So she's just a younger sister," saying they similarly spent trainee days together.
In response, Park Jun-hyung recalled and agreed, "Jeon Ji-hyun debuted because Denian saw a picture of her in a magazine when she was a middle school student and said, 'She's okay,' so the manager inquired at her high school and she debuted."
