Min Hye-yeon, wife of actor Joo Jin-mo and a family medicine specialist, shared her thoughts after the final recording of tvN's "Free Doctor."
On the 13th, Min Hye-yeon posted on her Instagram, "Yesterday was the final recording of tvN's Free Doctor. I was with the program from its start to its end for five years. Somehow I've been on air for quite a long time and experienced many programs in the meantime, but this one was especially dear to me.. I recorded it really enjoyably and comfortably with no stress," she wrote.
She continued, "Not only the cast but also the production staff including the writers, and even the makeup teams, everyone without exception was great, fit well, and were warm. Where else could there be a team that even shares in each other's personal events?" she expressed her gratitude, adding, "I've experienced the endings of many programs, but this one weighs on my heart.. Now Thursdays will feel so empty.. but I believe we'll definitely meet again somewhere (though it's not the same members and composition, right?)" expressing regret.
She added, "Thank you so much for the past five years! To the production staff who made such a good program, the cast who are so fun and talented, and the viewers who watched the program consistently and made it possible to continue for five years, all of you!!!! + TMI! Even the reason I started playing golf was thanks to the Free Doctor team!"
In the photos released together, Min Hye-yeon is smiling brightly while holding a cake that appears to commemorate the show's end. The warm feelings sent by the production team are fully conveyed.
Min Hye-yeon is a family medicine specialist who graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine and runs a dermatology clinic. She married Joo Jin-mo in 2019 and started a family. The couple share their daily life through Min Hye-yeon's YouTube channel.
