Singer Jung Seung-hwan performed a special concert with an orchestra.
Jung Seung-hwan held "SERIES.L : Jung Seung-hwan" on Aug. 13 at Lotte Concert Hall in Seoul. The concert lasted about 100 minutes with a collaboration with an orchestra of about 50 members.
"SERIES.L" is Daehong Communications' original performance project that offers audiences a fresh concert experience through artist collaborations that cross genre boundaries and new arrangements and direction.
That day Jung Seung-hwan opened the concert with "Ottugi" and performed songs such as "That Kind of Person" and "Spaceship" with his distinct, emotionally charged vocals. In particular, Jung Seung-hwan presented new emotions by performing signature songs like "You Fool" and "If It Were You" with rich orchestral sound.
Stages showing Jung Seung-hwan's wide musical spectrum followed, including "On the spring road where cherry blossoms fall, let's meet again", "D-Day" and "Timeline." With his characteristically calm, understated delivery he conveyed deep resonance and captured the audience's hearts.
Jung Seung-hwan also left a strong impression until the end with songs that strongly reflect his musical color, including "Snowman," "Epilogue," "Star," and "Anywhere, Anytime." In collaboration with a large-scale orchestra, Jung Seung-hwan proved his worth as an emotional balladeer and completed a more immersive performance.
Meanwhile, Jung Seung-hwan is scheduled to appear at major domestic festivals, including the Grand Mint Festival 2025 on Oct. 18, continuing his distinctive presence.
