"Let's Go Go" features actor Jang Hyuk revealing a bittersweet funny episode from the time he lived with the group god.
On the second preview video for episode 11 of season 5 of general programming channel MBN's "Let's Go Go," which airs at 8:20 p.m. on the 13th, Jang Hyuk and god leader Park Jun-hyung appear, sharing episodes from the time they lived together dreaming of debuting as singers and actors, drawing laughter.
In the past, god's Yoon Kye-sang was an "acting partner," and Jang Hyuk, mentioning Yoon Kye-sang, opened by saying, "If Kye-sang was okay with it, we acted together. Kye-sang played the father role and the role of a dead friend," he said.
Hong Hyun-hee asked, "Was Yoon Kye-sang interested in acting at that time?" and Park Jun-hyung replied, "No." Hearing this, Ahn Jung-hwan joked, "Then Yoon Kye-sang started acting because of Jang Hyuk's influence," and Hong Hyun-hee added, "Jang Chen (the Yoon Kye-sang role in the film "The Outlaws") was made by Jang Hyuk," chiming in. Jang Hyuk calmly said, "Listening is important in acting," adding, "I provided the foundation for his acting," which drew laughter.
Jang Hyuk said, "Kye-sang is truly loyal. Once, Kye-sang wasn't feeling well, so I took him to a snack shop. I told him at the snack shop, 'At least eat some ramen,' but Kye-sang said, 'I can't eat.' When I asked why, he said, 'Other members can't eat, so how can I eat alone?'" revealing an episode with the "loyal man" Yoon Kye-sang that drew admiration.
Hearing this, Park Jun-hyung snapped, "Isn't the important thing that he ate?" In response, Jang Hyuk said, "Kye-sang said he wouldn't eat, but I persuaded him. I thought he'd die if he didn't eat. I said, 'If even you collapse, who will take responsibility for the rest? You have to pull yourself together. If other members collapse, you'll have to carry them with me.' At that moment, tears welled up in Kye-sang's eyes like chicken droppings, and he ate two bowls, so I thought, 'He'll make it,'" he recounted a later anecdote.
Ahn Jung-hwan, listening, asked, "How many bowls did you eat?" and Jang Hyuk replied, "I didn't eat. Where would I get the money to buy two bowls of ramen?" showing the passionate friendship of these loyal men and moving the audience.
Season 5 of "Let's Go Go" is a national housewarming tour program in which Ahn Jung-hwan and Hong Hyun-hee visit special and meaningful places such as a friend's home or workplaces and practice rooms that best show that person, and share life stories.
