Singer Lee Ji-hye breathed a sigh of relief after an unexpected incident.
Lee Ji-hye opened on her personal channel on the 13th, "My heart dropped. This has never happened to me before, and I still can't forget that scene."
She added, "The accident happened in the evening. I was feeding the children rice mixed with dried pollack soup, and my eldest said, 'Mom, I'm going to spit it out,' so I asked, 'Is there something in the rice? Then spit it out,' gave him water, and a little while later the second child cried again saying something was stuck in his throat," recounting the episode that happened during the meal.
Lee Ji-hye recalled the harrowing moment, "He kept crying, and for a moment I felt something was off. I thought it was an accident, so I laid the child down, pressed down the tongue and looked into the throat, and there was that big bone. My heart felt like it would burst. Because it was urgent, I became fully alert. I instinctively pulled the bone out with tweezers. Blood… I wondered how much it must have hurt."
Lee Ji-hye emphasized that raising children is by no means easy, saying, "When I thought the child's life might depend on me, I realized how noble it is to raise children and that we are doing something truly amazing. Comfort me too. I cried again."
