Jun Hyun-moo Plan 2 Jun Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube gave viewers healing with a food trip that succeeded in discovering Cheongju's "special taste" together with actress Lee Se-hee.
On the 46th episode of the full-fledged real street food documentary Jun Hyun-moo Plan 2 (co-produced by MBN and Channel S), which aired on the 12th, Jun Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin) went on a food trip with their "eating friend" Lee Se-hee to find a special taste that can only be eaten in Cheongju, Chungbuk, the "60th street." They explored a gourmet tour that covered a restaurant that sells twisted doughnuts and croquettes together with chewy cold noodles, Cheongju's own Chinese dish "uljjajang," and "pork uldae jjigae" that can only be tasted in Cheongju, stimulating viewers' curiosity and salivary glands.
That day in Chungju, Jun Hyun-moo introduced the place as "the hometown of stars. Yoo Hae-jin, Han Hyo-joo, Chuu, and Jeon Hyo-sung were born here." Immediately after, the two headed to a Cheongju restaurant that sells twisted doughnuts and croquettes together with chewy cold noodles. But the owner shocked them by revealing that the twisted doughnuts and croquettes were "sold out." Still unable to let go, the two ordered chewy cold noodles and dumplings and performed a flavorful mukbang.
After finishing their first meal in Cheongju, Jun Hyun-moo said, "Now let's go meet the 'eating friend.' The funniest person among the videos I watched this year." Right after, when Jun Hyun-moo met Lee Se-hee, he teased her who came wearing her trademark dented umbrella, saying, "You brought this umbrella again? It's really great," but Lee Se-hee fired back, "Throw this away?" drawing laughter. Then Jun Hyun-moo led them, saying, "Let's go to an old Chinese restaurant and try Cheongju's unique menu," but they were consecutively refused by two Chinese restaurants and were devastated. Eventually, the three opened the food they had "picked up" from a third Chinese restaurant in the park. Finally tasting "uljjajang," the three said they were "addicted," noting, "It tastes a lot like ulmyeon. The jjajang is just an accompaniment."
After the "Chinese food picnic," while moving to the next course, Jun Hyun-moo asked Lee Se-hee, "I heard you did a lot of part-time jobs when you were unknown." Lee Se-hee replied, "I tried department stores, gas stations, Japanese restaurants, handing out flyers, everything. I wasn't good at household chores, but the part-time job experience helps." But Jun Hyun-moo probed, "Did you become good at household chores? I saw something," and Lee Se-hee answered, "At least!" which electrified the set. Next, Jun Hyun-moo led the two to an "uldae jjigae" specialty restaurant, saying, "The stew you can only eat when you come to Cheongju is the last menu." But they were refused again, and Kwak Tube suggested an "luck(?)" test, saying, "This won't do. Let's buy lottery tickets." As a result, Jun Hyun-moo won 2,000 won, Kwak Tube won 4,000 won, but Lee Se-hee drew consecutive "losses," bringing laughter.
Immediately after, the three dramatically succeeded in securing another "uldae jjigae" restaurant that emerged as Cheongju's last hope. During the endless mukbang, Jun Hyun-moo mentioned, "I heard Se-hee is the third daughter who was said to be the prettiest?" and Lee Se-hee testified to her sisters' beauty, saying, "My older sisters were more popular than me."
