Singer ZAYNTEE appeared on the "slow aging" channel to meet Dr. Jeong Hee-won.
Recently, a video titled "ZAYNTEE, if you live like this..." was uploaded to the "Jeong Hee-won's Slow Aging" channel. Jeong Hee-won is a geriatrician at Asan Medical Center in Seoul and is credited with leading the "slow aging" craze in Korea.
ZAYNTEE introduced himself as "ZAYNTEE who wants to get healthy, wants to live healthily for a long time, makes music and sings."
Dr. Jeong Hee-won asked, "I'll be blunt. I'm curious why you contacted us." It turned out that a month earlier, ZAYNTEE had inquired about appearing, saying "I want to live healthily."
ZAYNTEE said, "Everything was in that greeting. I really want to live a long time," and added, "When you look at artists, many lived short, intense lives and became legends that way, but I want to live a long time, I want to live healthily, I want to get healthy."
He continued, "I usually don't have much appetite. I only feel like eating once or twice a year. I rarely get that feeling. Except when living in groups (military or school), I've never eaten three meals a day," and confessed, "I sleep about three to four hours a day, and my body doesn't move much. I don't exercise much and I don't walk much." He said he doesn't take naps and goes to bed between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m.
Hearing this, Dr. Jeong Hee-won, surprised, said, "Do you fall asleep at that time? People usually sleep around midnight when growth hormone and melatonin are released. They are needed for various recoveries. If sleep is inadequate, male hormones can be somewhat deficient. You can lack vitality and lose appetite," and advised, "Older people often have disrupted sleep, hormones, and appetite. I don't know if I should say this, but there is a possibility that your physical age is accelerating. A comprehensive improvement is needed."
