Music producer group Black Eyed Pilseung's Rado and Choi Kyu-seong have split. Choi Kyu-seong has already left.
Hi-Up Entertainment told OSEN on the 13th, "Rado and Choi Kyu-seong decided to go their separate ways because their musical colors are different. Producer Choi Kyu-seong resigned at the end of March," in an official statement.
It added, "As they created good music together, we ask for your support so they can continue to appear with good activities in their respective positions going forward."
Black Eyed Pilseung is a songwriting duo composed of peers Choi Kyu-seong and Rado, and they have been active in earnest since 2014. Based on trendy arrangements and outstanding melody making, they established themselves as hitmakers representing the K-pop scene by creating numerous hits such as TWICE's "OOH-AHH하게", "Cheer Up", "TT", "LIKEY", "FANCY"; Chungha's "Roller Coaster", "Already 12 o'clock"; Apink's "I'm so sick" (literal: "1도 없어"); and SISTAR's "Loving U", "Touch My Body."
Black Eyed Pilseung founded Hi-Up Entertainment in 2017 and produced their first girl group, STAYC, in 2020.
