Group SHINee member and solo singer Taemin's special digital single "Veil" was released today (13th) at 12 a.m.
Released 1 year and 1 month after mini album 5 "ETERNAL," the special digital single "Veil" is a work that captures Taemin's artistic sensibility and musical color, blending a deepened narrative with intense emotion.
This special digital single includes the title track "Veil" as well as another new song, "FINALE."
The title track "Veil" is an intense song that seems to confront head-on a feverish desire that rises as taboos are broken. Its sharp textures and heavy beat build tension to the end, emitting an addictive charm that, once you fall into it, you cannot escape. The lyrics contain an inward confession that moves between desire and fear, not a simple song of temptation.
Included "FINALE" is a ballad that combines delicate piano melodies with grand string arrangements, dramatically depicting the end of love and parting and containing an epic narrative. The emotions reaching the song's climax are expressed with strong appeal through Taemin's distinctive delicate vocals, offering an immersion as if watching a drama.
Taemin will hold the "2025 TAEMIN ARENA TOUR 'Veil'" in Japan today alongside the new song release. Taemin will kick off the tour from the 13th to the 15th at Kanagawa Pia Arena (PIA ARENA MM), performing the new song stage and filling the set with his hit songs. For this tour, he will present stages that maximize his artistry and performance under the theme of "hypocrisy and taboos hidden behind the veil."
Taemin will continue the tour in Saga on the 20th–21st, Shizuoka on Oct. 4–5, Chiba on Nov. 29–30, and Hyogo on Dec. 24–25.
