KBS 'Immortal Songs' actress Lee Young-ae reveals the daily life of a parent with twin children.
KBS2 'Immortal Songs' (directed by Park Hyung-geun, Kim Hyung-seok, Choi Seung-beom / hereafter 'Immortal Songs') is the undisputed top music variety program that has ranked No. 1 in viewership in its time slot for nearly 14 years. The 'Immortal Songs' episode airing today (13th) is the 'Actress Lee Young-ae, Immortal Masterpieces' special.
Lee Young-ae, who has 15-year-old twin siblings, draws attention by revealing her life as a mother. Lee Young-ae, who also attends parent meetings, shared a cute anecdote that made people laugh, saying, "On ordinary days I don't dress up so I go casually, but my daughter looked me over from top to bottom and pointed out, 'Are you going to go like this?' so I once stopped by a hair salon." When MC Shin Dong-yup asked, "Don't parents at the meetings find it awkward?" Lee Young-ae said, "I try harder so that won't happen. I often pay for meals or try to approach them comfortably," showing a relatable, human side of Lee Young-ae as a parent.
Along with this, Lee Young-ae reportedly intrigued everyone by hinting at not only her skin care secrets but also an idol group she has recently been interested in. On her personal skin care methods, Lee Young-ae playfully began, "If you contact me personally, I'll tell you (my skin care secrets)," then demonstrated a lifting massage method, saying, "Lift everything from the bottom up," putting everyone into a lifting trance. When asked if there was an idol she was recently interested in, she shyly answered, "I like TOMORROW X TOGETHER and BOYNEXTDOOR," surprising everyone.
Meanwhile, the six artist teams that day said none of them had ever met Lee Young-ae in person and expressed great anticipation, saying, "We want to see her in real life soon." Hong Kyung-min even bitterly lamented his wife's change of heart, saying, "When I told my wife it was Lee Young-ae's episode, she said she wanted to come watch," which made the talk waiting room burst into laughter, as she had previously shown no interest in his TV appearances.
