The first-generation creator Daedoseogwan (real name Na Dong-hyun) suddenly died, and news about his pet dogs was revealed.
On the 13th, a notice was posted on Daedoseogwan's YouTube channel saying, "The pets Daenchu and Kkomengi, whom Daedoseogwan cherished, are currently being cared for by his younger sister.
Both dogs are eating well and staying healthy. However, Kkomengi showed an abnormal gait and received hospital treatment, and due to old age was diagnosed as needing cruciate ligament and patellar surgery and is scheduled to undergo surgery tomorrow (Sept. 14)," the notice said.
An official said, "The final 49th-day memorial will be held at Manwolsan Yaksasa, and Daenchu and Kkomengi will also be present. Those who wish to offer their condolences may attend," and announced that the 49th-day memorial will be held on Oct. 23 at Manwolsan Yaksasa in Incheon.
Daedoseogwan was found dead at his home in Gwangjin District, Seoul, on the morning of the 6th. He was 46. When he failed to show up for plans with acquaintances and could not be reached, police and fire authorities responded to a report and found him, and no will was found at the scene.
The funeral service was held on the 9th, and creator Yoomdaeng, who kept vigil as the chief mourner, said, "The exact cause of Daedoseogwan's death is a cerebral hemorrhage. He was found after concerned acquaintances, unable to reach him, reported it, and he was resting with his eyes peacefully closed as he often slept. To rule out any suspicions, an autopsy was performed, and it was ultimately confirmed that a cerebral hemorrhage was the cause," she said.
