Our Golden Days Jung Il-woo flaunts boss energy as he steps up his business efforts.
The KBS 2TV weekend drama Our Golden Days (directed by Kim Hyung-seok, written by So Hyun-kyung), scheduled to air at 8 p.m. on the 13th and 14th, will portray contrasting scenes in episodes 11 and 12: Lee Ji-hyeok (played by Jung Il-woo), who is absorbed in his business, and Ji Eun-o (played by Jung In-sun), who is struggling because of conflicts with her younger sibling.
Earlier, Ji-hyeok, who had smoothly launched the business, signaled a recovery in his relationship with Eun-o by collaborating with her on his first commission. But Eun-o gradually faces a crisis as she repays a private loan borrowed by her younger sibling Ji Kang-o (played by Yang Hyuk). To make matters worse, viewers were shocked when it was revealed that Eun-o is an adoptee and that her birth mother is Go Seong-hee (played by Lee Tae-ran).
In stills released today (the 12th), Ji-hyeok catches the eye with a crisp suit fit and glasses that accentuate his intellectual charm. His steady gaze carries a firm determination that inspires confidence. His relaxed smile as he presents his business plan in front of people hints that he has returned to the competent Ji-hyeok he once was.
By contrast, Eun-o's situation becomes increasingly complicated. Her younger sibling Kang-o, who learned the secret of her birth, is filled with confusion and anger, and Eun-o, facing her sibling, does not know what to do. Tears well up in Eun-o's eyes as she is left alone, evoking viewers' sympathy as they wonder what the two discussed.
Viewers' curiosity grows over whether the conflict between Eun-o and Kang-o is related to the birth secret and how the two stories will unfold going forward in contrast to Ji-hyeok, who is accelerating his comeback to success.
