'Ballad emperor' Shin Seung-hoon released the tracklist for his 12th studio album, with his name credited on all songs.
Shin Seung-hoon posted the tracklist for his 12th studio album SINCERELY MELODIES on his official social media today (12th).
According to the tracklist, SINCERELY MELODIES includes a total of 11 tracks, including double title tracks "The gravity called you" and "TRULY," as well as "She Was," "Luv Playlist," "Moment of the stars," "Learning to part," "At the end, to each other," "The us of that day," "With Me," "About Time," and "Like a lone flower blooming at the edge of that cliff."
SINCERELY MELODIES marks Shin Seung-hoon's first full-length album in about 10 years, and it drew attention because Shin Seung-hoon personally participated in producing and composing all the songs. Pouring all his abilities as a singer-songwriter, Shin Seung-hoon is expected to deliver an emotional experience akin to watching a well-made film built on his unique narrative and sensibility.
In particular, the 12th studio album SINCERELY MELODIES is a full-length album released to commemorate Shin Seung-hoon's 35th anniversary since his debut, and it carries the meaning of "a melody completed from the heart." It is expected that listeners will fully feel Shin Seung-hoon's true worth, who does not rest on past achievements and never stops taking musical challenges at every moment.
Proving this, the pre-release track from the 12th studio album, "She Was," signaled a successful comeback by entering major domestic music charts Melon HOT 100 and Bugs TOP 100 immediately after its release. "She Was" is a poignant yet tender Shin Seung-hoon-style traditional ballad and serves as a tribute to the fans who have stood by him unchanged over the past 35 years. It contains a message of consolation for those who have always sacrificed themselves in the name of love, from girl to lady, from lady to mother, delivering deep emotion.
Shin Seung-hoon's 12th studio album SINCERELY MELODIES will be released on various music platforms at 6 p.m. on the 23rd.
