Opening Oct. 2, the musical film Perhaps Happy Ending, starring Shin Joo-hyup and Kang Hye-in, directed by Lee Won-hoe, produced by Hidden Sequence, distributed by Kinofilm·Ascendio, jointly distributed by Movie Special City SMC·Roadshow Plus, unveiled its main poster for the first time.
The romance musical film Perhaps Happy Ending, newly born from a reinterpretation of the Daehangno musical Perhaps Happy Ending, confirmed its Oct. 2 opening, drawing intense interest from prospective viewers, and unveiled its main poster for the first time. Perhaps Happy Ending is a romance musical film set in the near future about Oliver (Shin Joo-hyup), a helper bot without a heart, and Claire (Kang Hye-in), who learn the emotion of love after being abandoned by their owner.
The released main poster captures attention with a warm illustration showing Oliver and his owner James's memory-filled room and the fluttering eye contact between Oliver and Claire as they hold hands. As the copy reads, "Error occurred, the heart has begun to race," the two robots Oliver and Claire discover each other's existence, embark on an unexpected journey together, and begin to learn emotions they hadn't known before; their uplifting romance and numbers with beautiful melodies are set to bring a lovely emotion to theaters this Chuseok.
Raising anticipation by revealing the main poster, the romance musical film Perhaps Happy Ending is scheduled for a Megabox-exclusive opening on Oct. 2 (Thu).
