Singer Lee Hyori was deeply moved after receiving an unexpected gift.
Lee Hyori wrote on her social media on the 12th, "On days I went to practice without even bringing a hair tie, the teacher would always have a hair tie somewhere and hand it to me. When there wasn't even that, the teacher would take the elastic from her own hair and give it to me…"
Lee Hyori added the comment, "Seeing the heartfelt gift I received yesterday, it's a morning that makes me think of the teacher. Shanti today, too," and released a photo.
The photo Lee Hyori shared showed three containers holding black hair ties. Though items easily found at variety stores, for Lee Hyori, who teaches yoga classes, they were a special gift that evoked memories.
Lee Hyori currently runs a yoga studio in Yeonhui-dong, Seodaemun District, Seoul, and teaches classes herself. When news of the yoga studio opening spread, close friends such as broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk and Seo Jang-hoon gave large potted plants as gifts, and afterward Lee Hyori announced she would politely decline offers of gifts or sponsorships. But faced with a gift filled with precious memories, Lee Hyori was moved as she recalled those memories.
Lee Hyori married singer Lee Sang-soon and lived married life on Jeju Island, but she recently moved to Seoul and continues active activities.
