Choreographer Monika shared candid feelings as she recounted memories and her recent life with her pet dogs.
On the 10th, a video titled "I miss my ex-boyfriend's dogs..." was released on the YouTube channel "이게진짜최종". On that day's "Pajama Sisters party," Harisu and Monika appeared as guests and talked about their pet dogs.
Monika recalled the story of how she had given up custody of her dogs, Samanda and Julian, after breaking up with her ex-boyfriend. She said, "Samanda was a dog that meant a lot to me.
At the time, her ex-boyfriend also loved Samanda very much, so she was able to yield. She thought that because his house was near the beach, Samanda would be able to run and play freely, she said. She added, "When we met again after three years and Samanda remembered me and ran to me, I broke down and cried my eyes out," showing tender feelings.
Monika also offered practical advice on pet custody issues. She said, "The side that creates a better environment has the advantage. Who takes better care of them becomes the decisive criterion," and emphasized, "If you love them, you have to express it directly."
She also shared the current status of the dogs she is raising, Seon-hae and Chak-hae. She explained, "They have been entrusted to my in-laws for about six to seven months. Because Chak-hae nips, we decided to leave her there after the child was born, after discussing it. We were cautious because we did not know whether the child had allergies." She honestly said, "I feel envious when I see videos on social media of babies and dogs sleeping together, but our dogs were neutered early, so I'm not sure if they can actually feel maternal instincts. A dog's temperament also seems important."
Meanwhile, Monika drew attention last December when she announced both her marriage and pregnancy. She gave birth to her first child in April this year and is finding balance among her dogs, family and a new life.
