"Gakjip Couple" actor Song Il-gook shared a recent update.
On the 11th's broadcast of tvN STORY's "Gakjip Couple," the Seoul lives of actors Moon So-ri and Kim Jeong-min were portrayed. Actor Moon So-ri visited Dongtan to support her mother Lee Hyang-ran, who began a second life as an actress after turning 70. Moon said, "I live at the Dongtan house, and the Seoul house is like a studio."
Moon said, "My mother debuted as a senior model at the age of 70. The Dongtan house is a home, and the Seoul house is closer to a studio," adding, "Aesun's life is also my mother's life. There is only a one-year age difference. There is a line, 'When you fly, it feels like I am flying.' Wouldn't my mother have felt that way too?" as she took time to understand her mother.
The mother and daughter made cucumber pickles and brought up Moon So-ri's child, Yeon-du. Moon recalled, "Before I had Yeon-du, I had a miscarriage and rested for about three months and then said I wouldn't have any more children, but a surprise gift happened," recalling that time. Director Jang Joon-hwan, her husband, had actually opposed having a child.
At the time, Moon decided to enter director Park Chan-wook's work as she recovered from the pain of the miscarriage. On the first day of filming, Moon learned she was pregnant. Moon said, "I asked if I could still go into filming. But because I had miscarried three months earlier, I had to be hospitalized for absolute rest. I was happy, but I had also been preparing for that project, so my feelings were mixed," recalling the time she loved the child but had to give up the project.
